Uptown on the west side is this wonderful store that sells these beautiful murano glass plates. They felt so fragile, that if I had them at home, I would be paranoid that I would break them. Perhaps that is why there are little signs that say " Please do not handle", which I only managed to see after I touched these little plates.

That last one is beautiful! It reminds me of Glass Eye Studios; they have really neat hand blown glass paperweights/globes. Here's a link to the "Celestial" series:
