New York Times cover art
Every week the New York Times issues a magazine. The articles themeselves are predominently great, but it's the cover art that draws me to them first. I especially enjoy the more illustrated cover art, over the photographic one.
And although not seen here,I am always impressed by their creative,functional and expressive use of typography for their stories.

I like the the first and last one. They all have that kind of retro suburbia feel to them.
These covers are amazing!
The typography used in the third one is really cool, memorable and unique.
